The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation (OSPF) invites you to the Interfaith Conference on Suicide Prevention: Building Hope Through Faith and Community, on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Meekers Venue in Delaware, Ohio.
This statewide gathering will bring together faith leaders, mental health professionals, and community advocates to advance suicide prevention efforts through faith-centered dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Melinda Moore, an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University and the author of two books, including "After the Suicide Funeral: Wisdom on the Path to Posttraumatic Growth." Dr. Moore focuses on the intersection of faith and suicide prevention, and she will share her personal and professional insights regarding suicide loss and prevention.
A continuing education application has been submitted for prevention, addiction counseling, mental health counseling, social work, and psychologists.
